General InformationIntroductionThese pages contain some useful background information about the reports produced by Statistical Services. For the actual reports, please visit Datasets or Publications. ANU Organisational StructureAll ANU academic and administrative units fit into a classification system which has been defined to facilitate internal and external reporting. As units are often created, amalgamated and disestablished, this structure is regularly updated to reflect these changes in the organisation. Documents detailing the current structure are available below. Pivot Table HelpMany reports found on this website are presented as pivot tables. These are extremely useful tools, allowing users to interrogate a dataset to view the information that is most useful to them. For those who are unfamiliar with pivot tables a self-learn training manual is provided. Statistical Services also runs day-long pivot table training sessions several times a year. Details of these can be found below. Codes and ClassificationsUniversity data is coded in accordance with a variety of standard classification schemes, such as the Australian Standard Classification of Education (ASCED). |
