Student Barometer Surveys (ISB and DSB)

The Student Barometer, comprising the International Student Barometer (ISB) and the Domestic Student Barometer (DSB), is administered online to ANU students during the first half of the academic year by i-Graduate International Insight, to collect data on students' learning, living experiences and ratings of support services.

2016 ANU Student Barometer results

A total of 2371 ANU students responded to the 2016 Student Barometer Survey, with 1712 responses from domestic students and 659 responses from international students. This represents a 12% domestic response rate from the survey population of 14268 domestic students, and a 12% of the international response rate from the population of 5618 international students.

2014 and 2013 ANU Student Barometer reports

We have produced a series of supplementary topic papers containing results analysis and anonymised open-ended student comments. To request a copy of a topic paper that is relevant to your role/responsibilities, please email the evaluations team. Topic papers include: welcome and orientation, learning resources (Library, WATTLE, IT Services), student safety, employability and careers.

ANU HDR Satisfaction reports (including 2012-2013 Student Barometer Survey results)

The following reports capture ANU Higher Degree Research Candidates' experience by compiling data from three sets of surveys: the Student Barometer Survey, the Higher Degree Research Exit Survey and the Postgraduate Research Experience Questionnaire.
